Welcome Current Waste Solutions!

Welcome to the Current Waste Solutions family. We were founded on a simple idea: that local
service can still make a big difference. We are proud to call Kentucky home, and from the crew on our trucks to the
people who answer the phones, we are your neighbors, not a call center three states away. Every pickup, every
route, and every customer matters to us, because we live here too. We are honored to serve your household.

I-264 and U.S. 42 Improvement Project | Construction Phase

Daily struggles with traffic congestion are part of the planned road improvements.  To learn more, please visit the Kentucky Department  of Transportation for traffic impacts, drawings and timelines of the project.

Keep Updated on Construction and Traffic

KYTC is currently demolishing a portion of the Brownsboro Road bridge over the Watterson.  Traffic from the Watterson East bound will be diverted onto Brownsboro Road.  We can expect ongoing and significant delays and traffic backups on Brownsboro Road. We suggest you join the KYTC email list for current updates to the project. It’s a simple form.  After typing your email address, click “I-264/US 42 Improvement Project-Jefferson County,” click to consent, then Submit.

Kentucky League of Cities
Survey Says!

A special THANK YOU to all the residents that took the time to fill out the survey and mail it back. Our goal was to hear the collective voice of our residents.  The strength of the survey is only as great as those who took the time to voice their wishes.

The report contains results of a city-wide survey we mailed to residents in early 2025.  Thanks to the Kentucky League of Cities, who helped facilitate the process.
